2 Corinthians 12:9

Hope in the
Night Seasons

December 3rd

2 Corinthians 12:9

“And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

This is a hard word, but I have found it to be true, when I am weak no matter what the reason, I am closer to the Lord. The Lord can use many different avenues to cause us weakness, but we have to remember he is doing this out of love, so that our strength can be made perfect or complete. For the word says when we are weak he is strong.

So our weakness is working for our good even though we sometimes can wish that it was not necessary to become so weak, there is a purpose in it.

Just know this, when we feel so weak we don’t think we can take another step. God is about to arrive on the scene and work a miracle.

Miracles only happen when a natural solution to our problem can’t help.
